Walsingham Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Like the tag says, I wondered if it is worth the 3 quid it's on sale for. "It wasn't lies. It was just... bull****"." -Elwood Blues tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe. RIP Hades/Sand/etc. Here's hoping your next alt has a harp.
anubite Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 I haven't played it, but reading all the user metacritic reviews turned me off hard. From what I gather, it's an ARPG with some 'attempts' at different systems that just don't work out. I made a 2 hour rant video about dragon age 2. It's not the greatest... but if you want to watch it, here ya go:
Rostere Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 I've also heard that it's quite disappointing. You better save those 3 quid for a beer. "Well, overkill is my middle name. And my last name. And all of my other names as well!"
WorstUsernameEver Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 It's boring Wals. But the setting is charming and good-looking, so you might still want to give it a try, if you go into it with low expectations.
melkathi Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 It gets repetitive. You control three characters (you can swap freely between various characters of a number of classes in town) but have one action bar for all three, making the end result similar to playing one character who's body parts you have to micro-manage... They tried to add some customization through implants. As Worst said: its a charming setting in post apocalyptic IKEAland. I found it managed to occupy me for about 10 hours and for that it is worth the price of a pint Unobtrusively informing you about my new ebook (which you should feel free to read and shower with praise).
