January 8, 201313 yr This year end I have to fly out to Sweden and hang out with Rosbjerg. My last girlfriend was an Asian but went to school in Sweden before she moved to the US. I was always impressed with how pretty her friends from Sweden were. I was under the impression that he's Danish, not Swedish. Not that it makes a great difference, geographically or in the visual appeal of the local female populace. You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that? Reapercussions
January 8, 201313 yr @BruceVC: I think the modern take is more influenced by Confucianism than Buddhism though I am sure there are some elements from Buddhism. Its all very low-key in my family and its more a time for my grandfather to show us pictures of his parents and grandparents and talk about them. Then we serve their spirits food and drink on a specially prepared table and bow to our hands and knees. Then we eat a lot. Denmark it is then! I'll just find my way to that bar and start shouting Rosbjerg! Hopefully he'll actually be there and won't ignore me.

I am always fascinated by different cultures, another advantage of the Internet is that it is easy to learn about this global world we all live and thrive in. I grew up in a completely atheist family so I was never exposed to anything even remotely religious\spiritual. "Abashed the devil stood and felt how awful goodness is and saw Virtue in her shape how lovely: and pined his loss” John Milton "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” - George Bernard Shaw "What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead" - Nelson Mandela
January 8, 201313 yr Yeah I'm Danish, if you want a wild party in Sweden you need to find Mkreku. I'll just find my way to that bar and start shouting Rosbjerg! Hopefully he'll actually be there and won't ignore me. The bar is called Sin City and you'll find it in what's known as Meat City. The girls in there are not your average Scandinavians though - these are dark haired, tatooed, pierced and with a bad attitude.. gotta love it. But yeah, if you start yelling my name in a bar I'm at, I promise I won't ignore you. Fortune favors the bald.

Add a post-graduate degree to that, and you've just described my ideal woman (ie. the ex). :D E'dit: http://www.visitcopenhagen.com/Eat-and-drink/Sin-City/382 Edited January 8, 201313 yr by Nepenthe You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep.
