I prefer having smaller parties because it encourages you to make difficult decisions. If you can only take 4 people you have to decide if you prefer having a warrior or an extra wizard. With 6 or 8 people you can take a member of every class so there is no decision to be made.

the problem is, as i said in another topic, to make all companions useful no matter the size of the party. if you have 2 thieves they must operate differently so you have to use each or both depending on the situation. if you have 2 mages, they must have each different spells and choose which one fits your mission and so on. i really hated in KOTOR that most companions were useless once you had 3 jedi in the party

The words freedom and liberty, are diminishing the true meaning of the abstract concept they try to explain. The true nature of freedom is such, that the human mind is unable to comprehend it, so we make a cage and name it freedom in order to give a tangible meaning to what we dont understand, just as our ancestors made gods like Thor or Zeus to explain thunder.

What? You thought it was a quote from some well known wise guy from the past?

Stupidity leads to willful ignorance - willful ignorance leads to hope - hope leads to sex - and that is how a new generation of fools is born!

We are hardcore role players... When we go to bed with a girl, we roll a D20 to see if we hit the target and a D6 to see how much penetration damage we did.

Modern democracy is: the sheep voting for which dog will be the shepherd's right hand.

I didn't have to follow a guide, I just had insane reputation, over 2000 or something. Everyone stayed with me once I got my own kingdom.

Then, endless battles between Boyard Sir 5 0 and Jarl Sir 4 1 happened and I gave up. Damn bugs.

Oh, maybe my team would tolerate an extra member by now (hated by two others).

Playing Prophesy of Pendor and I could use an extra trainer.
