Zaphodd Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Hi all, I recently bought NWN and NWN2 as a downloadable package from Atari. I managed to get NWN working for multiplayer but NWN2 says my CD is not registered. The message I received asked me to contact Atari US/customer support. This was a useless idea. Atari took a almost a week to get back to me and all the message said was contact Obsidian Entertainment. I've read a few forums and it looks like this is an ongoing problem. Does anybody have any solutions to this problem? Thanks for any help. Zaphodd
Gorth Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 The message I received asked me to contact Atari US/customer support. This was a useless idea. I moved this thread to the games secion, as you are more likely to get suggestions (if any) here. Sounds like Atari is screwing you over, as they are the official support place for the game. Notice that this place doesn't have a dedicated NWN2 section? Atari claimed total ownership of the product. “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. Tigranes Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Yep, CD Key / DRM / etc business will be handled by the publisher, and especially if you bought it directly from Atari, they're the ones that are most likely to have an answer for you. Hopefully they have someone who's a bit more helpful there, though... Let's Play: Icewind Dale Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Icewind Dale II Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Divinity II (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG1 (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG2 (In Progress)

Zaphodd Posted April 3, 2012 Author Posted April 3, 2012 Thanks for all the help guys. Unfortunately, nothing seems to help at the moment. I will continue to look for answers but I feel cheated. I bought the game to play multiplayer. Atari has not backed up their advertising. It's very disappointing.
