Malcador
"I don't mind Ignatieff," Ignatieff is a punk. This is a guy who claims to be all about Kanada yet had fun voting in other country's election. This is a guy who is sod esperateb to be elader who would spit on the democractic voting of Kanadians. This is a guy that claimed he wanted to work with the NDP to overthrow the Conservatives but the moment it was clear he would get get less votes then the NDP he spent his time bashing the NDP. The guys is a big fat failure. What's funny is I'm not Conservative. Out of the half dozen times I'v voted (I'd on't vote all the time including this year), I've voted Conservative once. I was a big fan of Chritien. Liberals simply haven't had a worthy leader since him. In this election, they got what they deserved. Only dumb Kanadians voted Liberal or Green, only bigoted Kanadians voted for the Quebecois, only cool Kanadians voted for the NDP, only smart Kanadians voted for the Conservatives, and only polityically savvy Kanadians passed on voting this time. R00fles! Well, that's a Canadian for you. Slamming Ignatieff for being power hungry is a bit amusing when you look at the other two. Same thing. One fear mongers for a majority, the other one has been gaming since Martin and now is weaker and might get his throat cut in Quebec next time. And the coalition boogeyman is permitted in our system, one which people are a-ok with the executive being tied to the legislative normally. So don't really get this intense loathing people have when he's qualities that...all politicians have, who knew the ads worked. Any event, he's gone as leader. Trudeau or Rae next, woo. I should haved voted Liberal though, Lang tried hard although he's in Layton's home. Edited May 3, 2011 by Malcador Why has elegance found so little following? Oerwinde
" Iggy just didin't cut it, but little known fact, every Canadian has the right to vote in the UK as long as they've resided there for 6 months prior to an election, same as here. I don't get why Iggy got flack for exercising his right to vote." Just because you have the right to do something doesn't make it the morally right thing to do. That preacher who burned the qua'ran had the right do it but it certaily wasn't the cool thing to do. Iggy claims to be Kanandian, and all about Kanada - so much so he ran for PM - perhaps he should concentrate on Kanadian politics and not British ones. If you live in the UK for 10 years and have the right to vote but don't, you're an idiot. Basically he's getting flack for not being an idiot. And you're an idiot if you think burning a qu'ran is morally equivalent to voting. The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity. WILL THE ALMIGHTY
This is going to be a very awkward term. Qu "Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"
Deraldin
Any event, he's gone as leader. Trudeau or Rae next, woo. It's going to be Rae. He's already gearing up for it and Trudeau simply isn't ready. He hasn't done enough. He needs to do something to prove that he isn't just coasting on his father's name. Supposedly he did that to some extent in his own riding, but he's got a long way to go in the rest of the country.
