After al many people still manage to praise FO:NV into high heaven while still calling FO3 a piece of crap... even though it's just FO3 with a few bells and whistles. Not really, I was bored to tears by FO3, I consider it the most overhyped game of all time (along with GTAIV - and I'm only including games I've actually played), but I quite liked FONV.
