May 3, 201015 yr Deadly Premonition is even better than Heavy Rain. http://www.destructoid.com/deadly-premonit...in-165288.phtml For once, Lord of Flies is 100% correct and not trolling! "Both games have PS2-era graphics." Heavy Rain has PS2 level graphics? What a ****ing troll. But then again I never took destructoid serious. Rain makes everything better.
May 3, 201015 yr Incidentally, Giant Bomb is doing a double let's play of this game and it is pretty damn awful, but in a hilarious kind of way.
May 3, 201015 yr OK watched that vid.. and this is so completely freakish... and looks bad... in a way I am strangely compelled to go run out and get it... I saw it at the store over the weekend and now a small part of me regrets not having seen this thread before going there. I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man

May 5, 201015 yr Author Reminder that this game is a best-seller and sold the absolute most of any game on the 360 on Amazon a couple weeks ago. Who are you going to trust: Purkake, a well-known spammer who posts dumb gifs in every thread, or me + Amazon, a socialist-capitalist pair who agree: G.O.T.Y. G.O.T. ****ing Y.
May 5, 201015 yr I've played this game - and it was a fantastic experience. Divination by coffee? Yes please!
May 25, 201015 yr After having followed the Giant Bomb endurance run until the end(minus the epilogue), I have to conclude that the story is pretty good if suffering a bit from the crazy Japanese-ness, but that comes with the territory. The combat and boss fights looked horrendous, but that's why you have let's plays, right?
May 28, 201015 yr I've been playing it off and on (not much time for gaming atm) and its truely a nutty game. Several laugh out loud bits but also kinda creepy when it needs to be. Controls are crappy, but oddly not so awful as to make the game unplayable. I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man
