Saw this on Slashdot. Some dudes were making thermal paste out of diamond dust and seeing how effective it was compared to Arctic Silver. In the end, they managed to home-make a paste that wound up saving them 15-20 degrees of temperature on their CPU - centigrade! Pretty astonishing benefit, assuming it holds up when other people try it out.

That sounds pretty awesome!

And Diamond dust can be manufactured, for not a huge ammount of money. You don't need to file bits off diamonds.
