Yeah i heard because of US audience all FF games were realy bigtime censored for US and EU release :(

I can't speak about all the Final Fantasy games, but Final Fantasy VII doesn't seem to be censored for US/EU release. Barrett doesn't swear nearly as much as he does in the English language version. Cloud is also a huge sissy in the Japanese version, and it pisses me off now and then. Aeris is what people would generally call a "**** tease," at least for the Midgar part of the game.

I'm only at Junon right now, things might change. But, as I said, no apparent game breaking censoring so far.

I realy do not know, i did read it on some FF fansite, i do have all Japanese versions of the games aswell, have to play them on PC emulators because i dont have japanese PS :( the problem is i dont understand japanese :(

Aeris in the American version was a love interest sure but the teasing (sexually) was left out for the most part IIRC.

Now I get the rooftop scenes in Midgar and that part where you(yes, the player, Cloud isn't much of a character, I prefer Zidane) stay at their house. Damn moonpeople in their mooncountry!

FF6 was fun to play. FF7 wasn't bad because it was something new of controls and power useage. FF9 was a great story that I liked. FF10 was the first time, after getting the international version, that I could play it in English! Both speaking and text. FF10 2 was for.....better not say on here. But was very mad that the international version was not done like the way FF10 was. FF10 2 has only the characters speaking in English but all the words (text) are still in Japanese?! International FF12 is the same way. But I really liked it until doing the mog hunts. Some of the bosses took hours and I'm not kidding hours to beat. With some help from my wife, who is Japanese :) I can do the local versions of FF. But I do prefer them in English ever since I got hooked on playing FF10 in it. So if and when FF13 the international version comes out, I hope they will do it like FF10 was done for languages.

The job functions are suppose to be better in FF13 from what I have heard here in Japan.
