Trivia: we get computer games the same time America does, which is probably 6 months early than Austria (what you get when you misspell 'Australia').

 

Anyway, at least our most famous export isn't Adolph Hitler.

I think I'm going to be disappointing now if the game isn't titled "Aliens in Down Under" now.

Last time I checked, at least Colonial Marines (the FPS) was scheduled for Q1 2009 release. That's like...pretty soon? They gotta show something if that's still true.

They canceled it once but I though it was stiil going on.

Hey now, my mother is huge and don't you forget it. The drunk can't even get off the couch to make herself a vodka drenched sandwich. Octopus suck.

CM never got cancelled. But Gearbox was experiencing 'reorganizing of infrastructure' in the company though due to the lackluster sales from their latest Brother in Arms game.

 

That means laying people off.

I've heard a few bits of 'inside info' on Colonial Marines, something about problems with the code and they had to rework something... I'm not a game developer so I don't really know much about it only that it has been delayed so I guess they are also delaying the event.
