Markus Ramikin Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 (edited) Well what the dickens? I just checked my override folder, there's nothing there that would account for this. Oh well, I guess this will remain one of the mysteries of the Universe... edit: I can't spell. Edited November 20, 2008 by Markus Ramikin
Jediphile Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Well what the dickens? I just checked my override folder, there's nothing there that would account for this. Oh well, I guess this will remain one of the mysteries of the Universe... Sounds like you got lucky. Remember that TSL distributes loot randomly (and a bit too randomly IMHO). It does so to a "map" or "level" as it's loaded, so if you have the game saved at a point after the "map" is established, you should find the same treasure every time. To change it, you have to reload the entire "map" by restarting/reloading from a point from before it was entered. The only exceptions to this are the fixed items (like the jedi robes in the palace of Iziz on Onderon) and items created for a specific purpose (like the lightsabers you can claim by falsifying the testament of the dead salvagers on Dantooine). Btw, isn't there a fixed upgrade for T3 just as you get aboard Goto's yacht? Visit my KotOR blog at Deadly Forums.
Hassat Hunter Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 (edited) It's bugged... (dissapates as soon as you enter the Ebon Hawk) (not fixed by TSLRP so far) Edited November 20, 2008 by Hassat Hunter ^ I agree that that is such a stupid idiotic pathetic garbage hateful retarded scumbag evil satanic nazi like term ever created. I do seem to remember getting that upgrade on multiple playthroughs. Starting from scratch, not from a mid-nar-shaddaa save. And each time it was in that particular area. Could be my memory playing tricks on me, of course.
Hassat Hunter Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Last playthrough: Opo Chano sells two of them. But they are just upgrades for the 2 slots next to the head, not a permanent upgrade... ^ I agree that that is such a stupid idiotic pathetic garbage hateful retarded scumbag evil satanic nazi like term ever created.
