Vengence II Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 I recently purchased and installed KOTOR II and have been playing it. My son started his own game, when he saved, my progress was wiped out...is there some way to correct this problem?
Markus Ramikin Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 (edited) IIRC, you only see the savegames for the last character you played. So if your son created a different character, only his saves are visible - but in the load screen you can switch back by using the Switch Characters button. Or are you sure the files are physically gone from your saves folder? Edited November 6, 2008 by Markus Ramikin
Hassat Hunter Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 You don't happen to use Vista, right? If so, make sure you have Administrator rights, or things like this happen. ^ I agree that that is such a stupid idiotic pathetic garbage hateful retarded scumbag evil satanic nazi like term ever created. Vengence II Posted November 7, 2008 Author Posted November 7, 2008 Thanks guys...that was exactly it....read the damn instructions Veng heh heh heh
Markus Ramikin Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 (edited) While we're on the subject, Kotor savegames zip beautifully, 2 GB or so (4 playthroughs) went down to something like 50 MB (with 7-Zip). That helps if you're a maniac like me, who keeps a whole string of saves of a playthrough saved just in case I ever want to review a particular moment in the story one day.
