I had this idea:

 

The scene is a concert hall, filled with alien eggs. Centre stage is a grand piano, behind which are a number of people in evening dress glued to the wall of the nascent hive. Scattered in the auditorium are alien eggs in profusion.

 

A figure stirs, and as they do so an egg opens, and the facehugger scuttles out, leaping onto the top of the piano, and progressing onto the keyboard en route to the victims. As it hits the keys, however (camera zooms in), the noise calls it to panic and it pulls back. It extends a digit, and hits another key, recoiling. It persists in trying to get along the keyboard, moving from side to side.

 

Obviously* we quickly realise that the creature has begun to play a tune, and as that realisation dawns, more facehuggers appear next to it and join in. The end product should be something like

video, ending of course with a simultaneous leap off screen towards the human victims.

where the chest buster starts singing and dancing on the table.

 

best part of it was that they got the same guy from alien to do it. ( cant rember his name ..... wait "john hurt" wasnt it?)

You're right. We could do the ****ney 'pie and mash' ending, with a Pearly King chestburster.

Well, Obsidian's good folk certainly have...traditions involving eggs
