We just had an Earthquake in the UK, bizzare thing it was, just wondering who felt it... I'm in South Yorkshire!

Shake, rattle and roll! ;)

How much on the Richter scale?

I've been away from Wellington so long that I've almost forgotten what earthquakes feels like :)

4.7 nothing major, just a bit of a minor shock

I was in kent for their last big one.

The local papers were full of pictures of the destruction.

Which was pretty much limited to a wobbly chimmny falling off a roof.

5.2 richter. I thought it was just me being over-tired. Unlike everyone else getting out of bed I went straight TO bed.

So true.

Wellington seems to revel in the fact that statistically speaking, it should already have had a Gozilla-level earthquake.

4-5 richter? Pffft.

That's baby stuff for us SoCal homies. Wake me up when it's at least double digits.

I think the inrushing sea should do that.

I wasn't in bed at the time, and mostly I was curious if anyone else was awake... It really wasn't major... Just not the sort of thing that happends that often.
