Calax Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Ok heres my problem. Every so often my wireless network card will simply stop transmitting data, I don't know why but it will just flat out stop and after about a second it'll restart transmitting. I was wondering if you guys have any CLUES as to what it might be. this sucker is a linksys of some kind (donno the model) and it only started up about 2 months ago. Its about 2 years old. Fionavar Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 "It's dead Jim ..." I have found that most cards/routers have a life of about 2 years. I now just swap them out when the exact issue begins fwiiw. The universe is change; your life is what our thoughts make it - Marcus Aurelius (161)

Hurlshort Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Now you just plug a wireless adapter into a USB 2.0 slot. It's supposed to work pretty good, although I won't see for myself until my new PC comes in.
