I think current human civilization is very remarkable in its tenacity in achieving new technologies, advancing literature and philosophy, and achieving new techniques to destroy one another. The human species, unlike any other, is dichotomy of being, that it is a creature capable of unimaginable cruelty and great acts of compassion. We have the ability to destroy all life on this planet with a flip of a switch yet still have individuals willing to sacrifice their lives for the good of others.

If that is not remarkable then what is.

The Western world is no more decadent than the rest of the world. I've been all over Europe, in 5 different countries on Africa and covered much of Asia and I see the same things all over - sure some cultural differences mask some faults in human nature, but on a whole every society and every culture is merely a cracked dam which holds the worst of us at bay. It's human nature that's the "problem" here - not a specific culture or idea.

However it fails because of weakness of humanity. People aren't good enough for making communism to work, thus in reality it has "problem".

Yes, but the problem is that socialism thinks that 'weakness' (which is not much of a weakness, btw. It's what allowed humans to survive through the ages) is the result of what society does to people (particularly capitalism), and that with the correct social reforms they think they can change that. Alas, human nature is what it is, which is why all attempts at socialist/communist utopia have resulted in catastrophe and massacre...

There is no telling yet as to whether capitalism will lead us down the same path of disaster, just delayed. I suppose that's the only way by which civilizations can actually change - by trial and error.

However it fails because of weakness of humanity

I would say it fails because a ruling elite has to decide, with complete authority, what is best for everyone else. The fact that such supposedly benevolent systems of government have proven themselves to be unteable is a testament to the strength of human nature, not it's failings.
