Since the original plan was to use the time between getting the RC/going gold and ship date to focus on the DMC, I wouldn't be surprised if this delay changes nothing from that front.

Yeah, but isn't that more of an action game and not really very rpg-ish?

It's probably going to be like Oblivion. So, I would call it an Action-RPG.

It's really not an RPG at all. Comparing it to Oblivion is like comparing Dues Ex and Half-Life. HF is purely a FPS game, Dues Ex is a hybrid. Every preview and clip I've seen of the new Might and Magic game points to it being strictly a FPS with medieval weapons and magic. The physics sound awesome though.

Q : What about the RPG elements in the game?

RC : Dark Messiah features some of the classic RPG elements such as collecting items and building up your character. As you progress, you pick skills to coincide with your chosen play style (whatever it is) and be assured that the quest is going to support whatever style of play you choose.

RWG : For instance if you decide to play as an assassin, you will have access to skills that will improve your ability to stalk your enemies while remaining undetected, such as silent walk, backstab, advanced disarm

Ah. Well at least your lack of Combat Mission updates was because you were busy saying intelligent stuff.
