Yes. Like say Twi' leks and other kinds of aliens that could be imagined as force users. K1 had some of them in star forge battle after EH landed on docking platform.

I think humans are always better looking & more appealing than other species. Besides... if u want more species selection just get SW: Jedi Academy. It would ruin the KOTOR saga to introduce stupid Rodians as PCs! The only thing could be to introduce near-human species 4 example

Now seriously, time for a hypothetical situation:

 

We're playing KotOR3 and we are another species (as the fans wanted ) and you pwn the game and at the end you go to find revan 'n' exile, and when you come your a twi'lek, all they are is just like "Who the hell are you, we expected a human..."

It doesn't seem like it'd work that badly. You could have different responses to your character based on species instead of just alignment or gender. It could also affect influence options with your companions.

 

Of course, it wouldn't work from a historical standpoint, since the cannonized version would almost certainly portray the character as human. But it could work as a different game option, just like LS, DS, male, and female. And if you didn't like it, you wouldn't have to use it.

As companions or party characters, it might.
