Should i play Splinter Cell 1 and 2 before starting Chaos Theory? I just bought it but now i'm thinking i might miss some crucial plot points if i do. Is it as story heavy as the Thiefs? Or the Metal Gears? Or is it more like the Hitman series?

You don't need to play the others before playing Chaos Theory. There's a little bit of background stuff that's of interest, but nothing crucial.

They're all kickass though.

Pandora Tommorow was the best one.

I preferred Chaos Theory way, way more than any of the other two. And I really enjoyed the other two.

Chaos Theory rocked too, but Pandora's environments were more rad.

I dunno, I'm really liking Chaos Theory's environments. I mean, sure the train was cool and all, but Chaos Theory is the first Splinter Cell game I've played where I've actually needed to use my night and thermal optics.
