June 7, 200619 yr Anybody know anything about this service? They say they have over 800 million games for download. For only twenty bucks or something. I'm skeptic... unlimitedgamedownloads.com "Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger." - Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials "I have also been slowly coming to the realisation that knowledge and happiness are not necessarily coincident, and quite often mutually exclusive" - meta
June 7, 200619 yr Seems to be a paid, non-P2P, File Sharing service. They will either make sure that no copyrighted content is shared, or have a clause in their sign-up agreement stating that they are not responsible for anything you upload or download.
June 8, 200619 yr http://www.unlimitedgamedownloads.com/?hop=zornesa1 What Darque said. It's basically a way to get you to pay them for breaking the law - whilst hiding behind the illusion that your quasi-legal transaction absolves you from copyright infringement liabilities. Download all the movies, music and games you want for only $BLING per month. Limewire and Kazaa can't beat that! They charge you $0. More is better.
June 8, 200619 yr The internet police will be after you once you download something. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
June 8, 200619 yr Heh, I was doing a search for Digital Distribution sites and ended up stumbling across that. As soon as I saw unlimited game downloads (among other things) for just $20, I laughed. Riiiight.
June 8, 200619 yr I thought that the point of getting things illegally is to get them for free, not for twenty bucks. "My hovercraft is full of eels!" - Hungarian tourist I am Dan Quayle of the Romans. I want to tattoo a map of the Netherlands on my nether lands. Heja Sverige!! Everyone should cuffawkle more. The wrench is your friend.
June 8, 200619 yr I'd imagine the $20 streamlines the process. You won't have to go hunting. It's also easier to use for the people that don't know how to go and get the stuff for free on their own.
June 8, 200619 yr If you're going to be a pirate, I see no reason to pay for the privilage Of course, this could be prison prep for people... pay now, pay later
June 8, 200619 yr The thing is, I'm sure there's many that either don't know that this would be piracy, or just don't know what piracy is.
June 8, 200619 yr Unless all the games are freeware or shareware, in which case it's probably still a con because you could get them elsewhere for nothing. Do they say what games they have? "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)
