Anybody know anything about this service? They say they have over 800 million games for download. For only twenty bucks or something. I'm skeptic...

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

Seems to be a paid, non-P2P, File Sharing service. They will either make sure that no copyrighted content is shared, or have a clause in their sign-up agreement stating that they are not responsible for anything you upload or download.

Sounds... like a way to rob someone of 20 bucks. :)"

What Darque said. It's basically a way to get you to pay them for breaking the law - whilst hiding behind the illusion that your quasi-legal transaction absolves you from copyright infringement liabilities.

Download all the movies, music and games you want for only $BLING per month. Limewire and Kazaa can't beat that! They charge you $0. More is better.

The internet police will be after you once you download something.

Heh, I was doing a search for Digital Distribution sites and ended up stumbling across that.

As soon as I saw unlimited game downloads (among other things) for just $20, I laughed. Riiiight.

I thought that the point of getting things illegally is to get them for free, not for twenty bucks.

I'd imagine the $20 streamlines the process. You won't have to go hunting.

It's also easier to use for the people that don't know how to go and get the stuff for free on their own.

If you're going to be a pirate, I see no reason to pay for the privilage :ninja:

Of course, this could be prison prep for people... pay now, pay later :x

The thing is, I'm sure there's many that either don't know that this would be piracy, or just don't know what piracy is.

Unless all the games are freeware or shareware, in which case it's probably still a con because you could get them elsewhere for nothing. Do they say what games they have?
