This is a newb question, but what are the keyboard keys used for swoop racing (PC edition)?

i think in KOTOR1, the space bar was used to shift gears, but this doesn't work for KOTOR2.

what is the key to "jump" obstacles?

Also are the purple blobs the obstacles?

Left and right arrow keys to move in their respective directions, click the left mouse button to change gears, and spacebar to jump.

Should be in the manual.

When I press spacebar, nothing happens. I don't see the swoop bike "jump". I haven't edited any of the keys for the minigames.

Edit:

I figured out why. When I start the swoop race, my bike automatically "Jumps" and stays there. that is why my times absolutely suck and why I can't seem to jump, because i'm already "jumped".

this is a bug. does anyone else experience this? if so, how can i fix it?

KotOR II's Swoop races are too buggy, and are virtually unwinnable...

Hmm, starting the game "jumped" seems odd, have you tried different swoop tracks?

Bug bug bugs... Try installing 1.0B; it fixes this bug.

Ofcourse it does introduces about 20 new bugs (if not more; I only played Peragus/Citadel and Nihilus ship :( )

And for the controls; you can edit them in the Options menu... besides for switching gears AAAAAARGHH. WHY did OE ever decided to build upon Kotor 1.0 instead of 1.3 :shifty:?

I agree that that is such a stupid idiotic pathetic garbage hateful retarded scumbag evil satanic nazi like term ever created. At least top 5.

Yeah, I kind of wish they hadn't rush this game. I hope they don't do the same with KOTOR 3. Or if they do, they'd be decent enough to release patches to fix the bugs. This is an area that Blizzard absolutely excels at and that Obsidian should take heed of.

Does that mean that the Alt key is bindable (just out of curiosity)

I would say... try it!

Some things got fixed by OE, but many (3/4 loading, Intelcards compatibility, swoop racing, 8-stats) remained...
