deganawida
Holy crap! Did Nintendo just make a total comeback or something? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They seem to be on the right track. The DS gives them a good foothold as well. The cube was a bit of a ****up from the start. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So was the N64.
Llyranor
Retro is using the nunchuck's accelerometer in an interesting, surprisingly non-gimmicky way. It controls Aran's grappling beam. You simply gesture flick the unit forward and the heroine's beam springs outward. The beam is used offensively, too, which is a pleasing addition, to say the least. Some Space Pirates come fully equipped with shields that they stubbornly refuse to part with, and therefore you have to figure out a way to disarm them. The grappling beam does the trick. Flick gesture the nunchuck unit toward one of these creatures and her beam will blast toward them and grip their shield. Then, all you need do is press backward on the nunchuck unit's analog stick and you'll literally rip the shield away, exposing the Space Pirate. StillLife
Is "Retro" Samus' replacement or something? So how smooth and interesting did the actual handling of the Wiimote look? Did it come off like a fairly unwieldy gimmicky sort of thing, or did it actually look like it could be a truly viable alternative to how Wii( )play games? Not so great with Twilight Princess , Red Steel , was so so. Definately a viable alternative. Might take some practice. I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Setzer
Thoroughly impressed with Nintendo's press conference. Whatever the launch price is - $199 or $249, I'm sold.
