Well it depends on how violent we're talking here. Even Mario was always stomping on Goombas and Koopas.

 

That said, Beyond Good & Evil, Scrapland, and Psychonauts are all good games that weren't overly violent.

The demo I played of Scrapland seemed fairly violent. It's just the violence was directed towards robots.
