Morgoth
As in challenging or.... something else? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Challenging? No. ****in' frustrating. You know, bad old school design, unlogical puzzles, silly traps and so forth. The monsters however turn into pretty tough bastards too in the end, and this is particularly annoying when they re-spawn the whole time. Without those glitches, the game would get a place in my personal Top 10 probably, but alas... you can't have everything. Edited April 23, 2006 by Morgoth Rain makes everything better. Archmonarch
Now I'm about 2 hours in, so far it's more creepy than actually scary and I must run away through hotel corridors from a bunch of psychos who want to hack me into little pieces for being an "outsider". They got to me because I got lost in the hotel. I'll try again tomorrow night... :"> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you dont mind a little help, there are a few things you can do before going to sleep to make thing easier. First, bolt the door in the room next to yours and then do the same in your bedroom. Take notice of the bookshelf, but it cant be moved yet. Go to sleep. When the fishpeople attack, run into the next room and bolt it behind you. Keep following this principle (bolting doors and moving bookcases) to obstruct their path and open yours until you get to a room with a window. Go through the window and jump to the balcony across the way. Go through the door here and push the clock in front of it. Keep going, grabbing any items you can, until you get to a room with a fire escape. The fishmen arent chasing you here, so take your time in lining up the jump to the fire escape. It can be fairly hard. Once you get across, you will be chased again. Climb up the ladders and cross some planks until you find an open skylight on the roof. Jump down and after some crawling you'll reach a save point. Make sure to crawl on the roofs and in other relevant places so you're harder to shoot and find. Good luck. Most people end up dying a few times there. Darque
Wow, this sounds like the movie Dagon somehow
Archmonarch
It should. That movie is based off a Lovecraft book too. Actually, Dagon is the god of the fishpeople in the game. ShadowPaladin V1.0
Are the fishpeople Deep Ones ? I have to agree with Volourn. Bioware is pretty much dead now. Deals like this kills development studios. 478327[/snapback]

I wasn't aware the game was modeled after it though (as in a specific book)
