It seems your site won't accept a 64x64 gif or jpg avatar loaded from an external url. I tried a few, and even loaded some new ones into Photoshop, reduced to 64x64 and they are way under the size limit for uploaded avies. I tried to "remove" my avie first before attempting the next one.

I then logged out, closed firefox 1.5, logged in, and tried again to no avail. What gives?

His question was never answered and that's why this uh, whatever, hasn't been closed yet?

I'm guessing it was a missing refresh 'cache' problem. Actually trying another browser next time, just to check on the state of your acount, might help you shed some light...and ditch Firefox while you are at it and get a real browser like IE or Netscape instead.

cipher,

Do you continue to have this trouble? It could be a forum specific issue, but I can look into it if you continue to have difficulty.
