Good news http://www.wargamer.com/news/news.asp?nid=3205

The game is done, a new preview is up at pointed link, and the demo is now available, from links above as well. It's fully feature-unlocked and lets you play the 'full game' for 3 hrs.

April 4th is coming up

Hello all!

I know you have been waiting for the demo we promised. In this post I will collect the links to the according sites and mention the according Magazines.

First off, this Demo is a 3 hour trial version which comes with a launcher. That launcher requires Microsoft .NET 2.0 to be installed on your computer. If it is not installed, it will see if it can download this from Microsoft and install it. And internet connection is also required the FIRST time you start the game (which will give your copy a unique ID). After that you can quit and start as often as you want offline, but after 3 hours the game will terminated.

At the moment we have the following links:

http://www.gamershell.com/news/29216.html

We also wait for links from sites from different countries which will be added as soon as they appear. The demo will also appear on the DVD of different Magazines

Have fun!

I've played a bit of the Doomsday campaign as the Russians. Having an all-out war on all fronts is, frankly, awesome. I've been doing pure warfare so far, haven't touched the intelligence/research/production/etc parts, since it's time-limited, anyway.

Here's another game that Llyranor and Jorian might dig.

Strategic Command 2

It's not a Paradox game, but you'll have to get over it. The demo's out now.
