Ok we've seen the dialogue endings if you make certain people jedi (ie the REALLY EASY ones)

 

but what about if they aren't jedi? do things change?

Not at all. This is where the cut endings come into play. Such as Kreia versus the Party.

 

Children with lightsabers but not jedi I think...

It depends on which continuity path is chosen for the next game.

 

K3 won't have an elaborately shrouded storyline where you only know that revan and the jedi exile existed and they had crewmates who existed; i believe that would be stupid story-wise on the devs part. Although, they could just screw the current storyline and be 100 years in the future in a different part of the galaxy: the old republic would still exist, maybe a new jedi order, but nobody would claim to know the people from K1+2
