Free demo, I like it a lot. Not the best game I've ever played, but it is still enjoyable. The opening cinematic is pretty lame, and watching it I expected the game to suck. Then the game itself kicks in, and it is fun. A lot of fun.

The controls aren't perfect, but you can remap them. At first, I was not particularly fond of the combat, I thought I had to move the mouse directly over my enemy to hit them, and because they run so damn fast it seemed impossible. I learned that you don't have to mouse directly over the creature, just in their direction and it'd hit 'em.

Anyway, give the demo a try. Tell me what you think. Or else.

What an oldschool feeling! I like it. It somehow reminds me Crimsonland.

The game is definitely fun fun old-skool shoot-em up.

Played the demo...definitely old school, which is a major part of the appeal. I like it.

Already own it (in europe it was released months ago) and played it and can say: it is the (THE) good example of a mid-price-game. It is fun (more fun than most full-price-crap), it is rather short (but longer than some fps), it looks good (not eye-bleeding-good but, oh, the shadows) and it is quite simple (not speaking of the level of difficulty but the game mechanics - run around and shoot stuff -> fun). If you look really hard you even see some pseudo-rpgish elements (the weapon upgrade thing).

And for me not having played this kind of game (top-down-shooter) it felt frech. Good game, worth the money.
