Well, I still have little trouble beating him playing a sentinel/jedi master on the highest difficulty...

 

Beating Nihilus should have been a challenge to the point where doing it becomes all but possible on the hardest difficulty. Otherwise the point that he must be drained by his attempt to drain the Exile is lost.

mandalor is still pretty strong ( as long as you keeped his weapony and skills up) and nihilus doesnt do much blaster deflection because of you and visas

His dex is low and str is high therfore he makes a better melee fighter.

Not if it's a double sided vibrosword. They can infict quite a bit of damage. Anyway, blaster fire has a good chance of missing. At least with melee weapons you're right there.

i find you can miss ever worse with a blade and if you do, you are right there so they can hit you
