moreKOTORplz Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 knights of columbus i can't get this dam avatar to work, how do you adjust the size of the avatar?
Darque Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Use an image editing program to reduce the size.
Darque Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 You need to remove that image before the mods get you It's too big for a sigpic.
moreKOTORplz Posted January 13, 2006 Author Posted January 13, 2006 oops how do you get the image smaller?
julianw Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 (edited) oops how do you get the image smaller? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Photoshop or even MS paint can do the trick. p.s. I could do it for you though it might lose some resolution. Just send me the link. Edited January 13, 2006 by julianw
Darque Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Paintshop pro maybe? I use an old old old version if I_View32 to resize mine.
moreKOTORplz Posted January 13, 2006 Author Posted January 13, 2006 aww thought you could edit on here
Darque Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Not a clue, I usually just find an image I like and crop it down to size before resizing it for the boards.

julianw Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Go try it. The first link is the one I always use. There is a big collection.
LadyCrimson Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 I know Photoshop is a great program, but it always amuses me when people suggest it for stuff like altering forum avatars. Unless your parents/friends have a copy and let you use it, I don't think anyone's going to want to spend hundreds of bucks just to make avatars. :D Looks like you got it done, but for reference, there's plenty of free or free-trial editors that work fine for basic stuff like that. Sites like tucows or similar always have lots. “Things are as they are.
