How old is "True Sith" plot?

First of all, the word "alien" is not applicable in Star Wars.

Second, the Sith species also appeared in Tales of the Jedi, long before NJO.

In fact, the first mention of a Sith species goes way back, before Tim Zahn in fact. The first mention I remember was 'Splinter of a Mind's Eye'.

 

 

According to several books, now made Canon, The Fallen jedi, the first fallen jedi, weren't called "Sith". They found and dominated a species called Sith, and over a century or so took up the name for their own empire. Thus, the birth of "The Sith Empire" that fought the Republic in the Great Hyperspace War. All this stuff comes from books and established materials, most eventually made Canon, that predate the Xbox. So why are we all arguing again? :cool:
