Rizzibukki
Hello to everyone and sorry for my poor english. My problem with kotor2 is i run the game, see the videos of lucasarts and other stuff, but when it's supposed to view the usual screen of "new game, load game, options..." the screen turns black and then recieve one of those annoying problem report from windows, returning to deskstop and closing the game. Here are my specs: [sWKotOR] ReportDateTime=14/12/2005 19:44:20 SysInfoVersion=v1.00.60 GameExists=1 GameVersion=v2.10.427 GameInstallLocation=C:\Archivos de programa\LucasArts\SWKotOR2\ [OS] Name=WinXP Version=Windows XP v5.1 build 2600 Service Pack 2 Service Pack=Service Pack 2 Status=Pass [swapFiles] C:\pagefile.sys=576 [CPU] CPUCount=1 CPUSpeed=1195 CPUFamily=6 CPUModel=7 CPUStepping=1 CPUVendor=AMD CPUName=AMD Duron Processor 1195MHz Status=Warning [Memory] RAM=384 Status=Warning [Disk Free Space] C: (NTFS), UNICODE=8.65GB Status=Pass [CD-ROMs] DriveLetters=D:\,E:\,F:\ Drives=HL-DT-ST CD-ROM GCR-8520B,HL-DT-ST CD-RW GCE-8400B,HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4082B [Video] Video Card Name=RADEON 9550 Video Memory=512 Desktop Resolution=800x600x32 @ 60Hz DirectX=DirectX 9.0c (4.09.00.0904) OpenGL Version=2.0.5014 WinXP Release OpenGL Vendor=ATI Technologies Inc. I played before Kotor I and have no problem. The game is updated, ATI drivers are updated, i've added the line to swkotor.ini that disables buffer objects (or something similar), closed firewalls and anti-virus... I want to play Kotor II!! I've tested everything. Thinking of renew the PC... Plese help!!

Judge Hades
Also you got 3 warnings during your diagnostic. Usually 1 alone seriously hampers performance.
zorx
The CPU warning could have great impact on performance, all the rest is enough. I've seen this problem with ATI cards when reinstalling different driver versions. Reinstalling the game AFTER the drivers is the right thing to do but you should first remove any files/reg. entries the game left behind. Another solution is format... dufflover
When you're dealing with the drivers don't forget to use DriverCleaner. And yeh, your processor is holding you back although I don't think it would crash from that. Welcome to the boards...wanna play Pazaak?
