Would be nice to have something of this caliber today.

The world has moved on though.

I recently finished the game as well, it's a true gem in the history of gaming. Too bad there's no more support for Planescape, so there will be no more games set in Planescape, let alone a sequel to Torment.

I don't really think you could have a "true sequel" to torment though.

Nah, that would certainly not work. But i would mind a another game set in the Planescape universe, with a small cameo of the nameless one, slaughtering Baatetzus in the lower planes :geek:

Oh, I can agree with that :geek:

I'd love another game in the Planescape setting... it and Dark Sun are my two most favorite DnD settings :)

it wouldn't be hard to get around things that happened in torment cause there are supposedly thousands of planes and etc...

The problem isn't that, the problem is that Wizards of the Coast have discontinued the Planescape franchise and don't want anyone to use it anymore.

Ayup

One more reason why I've boycotted (sp) WotC.

Ebberon is neat, but it's no Dark Sun or Planescape.
