I enjoyed Crusaders a lot though.

I heard the voice acting is much better in Heroes.

^That game's artistic direction is so lame. If lameness had an avatar game it would be Warrior Within, but KoF:Crusader(the original was a RTS of ultimate generity) had to have a spot right behind it.

The game itself is pretty unique at least as far as consoles go. It's got the bit I always missed about Dynasty Warriors.

The growing your own personal army. In Dynasty Warriors you get a body guard , but it's nowhere near that depth they just level up.

Ah, it's a been a while since I played DW, so I can't really name the differences between it and KoF(apart from the obvious visual ones), so thanks for the info.

 

Do you know the original KoF, the one Phantagram(?) made before going 3D?

I'd say Dynasty Warriors has better action. KoF has better strategy and overall KoF is the more rewarding long term. Dynasty Warriors rules as far as number of playable characters and creating your own warrior go.

DW ain't a Fighting game in the Street fighter sense of the word anymore... It's actually got missions.... Imagine K2 without forcepowers and that many stats and you've got DW... oh and no skills either.

Dynasty Warriors 1 was origionally somthing like 8 characters duking it out like in vitrua fighter.

 

 

the second itereation was what has really spawned the series.
