Diogo Ribeiro Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I recently heard about Louis Scutenaire, who reportedly was a Belgian writer and revolutionary. Unfortunately when I tried finding some information about him, I either come up with French web pages. These would be helpful if I understood the language. Does anyone know anything about the author, read anything about him or can point me in the right direction concerning places that may have information about him? Thanks in advance.
kumquatq3 Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 I tired....nada try babelfishing the french pages just to see what you get
Archmonarch Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 Short Bio It might also help to search for Rene Magritte, an artist friend of his. Louis named a great many of Magritte's works and so may be found through this connection. I was unable to locate any more precise biographical information, but judging by some of the quotes attributed to Louis, he was somewhat of a Satanist. And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had
Diogo Ribeiro Posted September 23, 2005 Author Posted September 23, 2005 Whoa. How did you found that page? Thanks. I also had made some searches for Magritte as well but they turned up pretty fruitless. I'll try some more. Thanks once again.
Archmonarch Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 No problem. Hint: It sometimes helps to set the acceptable language(s) of results when using google. And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had
