I also see a difference between targetting something and knowing that civilians are there and targetting civilians for the purpose of terror.  Of course, there was a huge discussion of this in thread around here somewhere.  I should probably buy the game and play it.

This is one of the few games Square put out for PC as well, if you can find it. I picked up my daughter's copy at EB Games. You will need a USB controller, though; it does not respond to mouse and keyboard.

it responds to the keyboard, but all the buttons are mapped on the key pad

7=camera

8= up

9=pgup (i've only ever used this in conjuction with 3 to run like a little girl...)

4= left

5=start

6=right

1=target

2=down

3=pgdn

-=assist

+=menu

Enter=OK

./del=switch

0/ins=cancel

I wish they had continued with PC releases, as I don't use the playstation but do enjoy some of their stories. I've played FFVIII many times, and would definitely buy FFX. It seems odd (in one sense anyway) that they'd release XI for PC after ignoring the platform for several games. Too bad it's online multiplayer only.

 

Has anyone found a decent PS2 emulator that will play FFX?

In fact in FFVIII, your team is supposted to asassinate a foreign ruler.

 

Final fantasy games are full of these sort of things. But i never considered the gits heroic anyway.

FF XI is a MMORPG, Square is a console developer only (the PC versions of FF VII and VIII were ported by EA).

Not EA darkon, they were ported by Eidos.
