6 Foot Invisible Rabbit Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 This is a set of bad guys, the Nephilim they are called, for my d20 Moder/Future campaign. They are inspired from the Kython from the Book of Vile Deeds, the Bug from the Alien movies, and the baddies from Wing Commander: Prophecy. DO you think my players are in trouble? (tee hee) Now I ust need to write up their star ships and fighter craft. Harvey
jaguars4ever Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 Bloody hell Harvey. The adult Nephilim is a beast!
6 Foot Invisible Rabbit Posted June 23, 2005 Author Posted June 23, 2005 Thank you. Just wait til you give him class levels, equipment, and a star fighter. Harvey
kirottu Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 Nephilim are sweet. I want pics with those groovy weapons! This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.
Nartwak Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 Thank you. Just wait til you give him class levels, equipment, and a star fighter. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's what I was thinking about when I was reading it. Do they have a preferred class?
6 Foot Invisible Rabbit Posted June 23, 2005 Author Posted June 23, 2005 In d20 Modern there are no preferred or favored classes. In normal DnD I would say Psychic Warrior or maybe Fighter. They do tend to take levels as Tough and Smart then taking levels in Dreadnaught (d20 Future), Soldier (d20 Modern), or Dogfighter (d20 Future). Harvey
jaguars4ever Posted June 24, 2005 Posted June 24, 2005 Aw, c'mon Harve...you gotta let us play your campaign. You know, there's got to be something to counter the Obsidian Diplomacy Game 1. ^_^
EnderAndrew Posted June 24, 2005 Posted June 24, 2005 Is the name Nephilim from the Avernum/Exile games?

What sort of gear do you plan to equip them with for your campaign?
6 Foot Invisible Rabbit Posted June 25, 2005 Author Posted June 25, 2005 Beyond their evolved weapons that are part of them not much. They really don't need too much beyond that. I still need to write up their starships. One of the aspects of their technology is that they directly link to their ships. Also they tend to be insectoid and... well alive. I am getting my inspiration for their ships from the Shadow from Babylon 5. They were pretty damn cool. Harvey

EnderAndrew Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 There are some extrordinary conspiracy theories about these forbidden children of angel and human cross-breeding, and that this bloodline will be at war with the Merovingian line in the end-times. Some also suggest the Catholic Church is secretly controlled by the Grigori line. I suggest that pie is mighty fine!
metadigital Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 What's the cleric caste, from the Torah / OT ? Can't think of their name off hand, and I don't have a Bible handy ... it's all in the Pentateuch, Leviticus or Exodus from memory ... EnderAndrew Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Some believe the original Cleric caste became the Knights Templar or Jannisaries, which may or may not have become the leaders of the Free Masons.

EnderAndrew Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Isn't that the image they use for the Devil on the Ryder-Waite tarot deck? And isn't that a pagan god of wisdom?
