Drakron
It adds anoyance and I can say since I had a mouse in a PS2 port (the PC) that decided out of the blue to not respond and I had to unplug it and plug it back again so it would work again. Of course it was not as bad as a cordless mouse that had a IR instead of a roller ball that sucked batteries so fast that about 3 days I was replacing then. Darque
maybe not afetr all sony has a much bigger market share than xbox and gamecube combined. So they would have to make a real mess of things to succumb to competition. IF they add backwards compatibility to ps3 sony will have it made. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sony said the PS3 would be backwards compatible months ago. It will be backwards compatible with both PS1 and PS2 games. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've heard a rumor that that isn't the case. Is there an "offical" release about PS3 reverse compatabilty? I hope there is, as if the PS3 isn't reverse compatable, I'm going back to full time PC gaming

11XHooah
This site will explain everything that Sony has released so far about the PS3: http://www.ps3land.com/ Here's the article confirming backwards compatibility: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2003/09/02/ps...play_ps2_psone/ War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. --John Stewart Mill-- "Victory was for those willing to fight and die. Intellectuals could theorize until they sucked their thumbs right off their hands, but in the real world, power still flowed from the barrel of a gun.....you could send in your bleeding-heart do-gooders, you could hold hands and pray and sing hootenanny songs and invoke the great gods CNN and BBC, but the only way to finally open the roads to the big-eyed babies was to show up with more guns." --Black Hawk Down-- MySpace: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...iendid=44500195

Oerwinde
Heres some mock ups PSM did of the PS3 based on all the info Sony has given out http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/davsin50/2ea1fa67.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/davsin50/05acb157.jpg I'm not sure I like the asthetic design, but the way the features are implemented is great.
