How to extract dialog sounds from Baldur's Gate

Featured Replies

Does someone clever know how to extract working sound files with

quotes of my favourite NPCs like Xan or Khalid? They are so cool that sometimes I'd like to listen to them without running the game - in my winamp for example.

When I use Near Infinity I can only extract sounds that doesn't work. But collector's disc for BGII contains some working mp3s of Minsc and others. So it is possible...

It would be cool to have Lilarcor sounds instead of those standard WIN XP sounds! (w00t)

HERMOCRATES:

Nur Ab Sal was one such king. He it was, say the wise men of Egypt, who first put men in the colossus, making many freaks

of nature at times when the celestial spheres were well aligned.

This I doubt. We are hearing a child's tale.

IIRC you can save the files as playable wavs thru NI with the acm2wav 'plug-in'.

There is a program called "GAP"

Just google it, it's freeware.

Works with many game formats, including BG's ACMs.
