Mad_Scientist Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 I've noticed a rather large amount of duplicate threads lately, where a poster creates a new thread and somehow ends up creating at least two identical threads. This is happening rather often, so I'm wondering if it is the result of some bug in the forum software or something.
Nartwak Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 Can posters delete their own threads? I can't remember.
jaguars4ever Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 Can posters delete their own threads? I can't remember. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sure, they can. A. Open Thread B. Scroll to bottom. C. Open "Moderetor Options" pull-down menu at left hand corner. D. Select Delete E. Confirm deletion. Of course this is only available to your own threads... "
Jedi Master Dakari Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 I wish you could do that to other people's threads sometimes. Oh, this situation sometimes arises when people are too impatient to wait five seconds for their thread to post so they hit the "Add Post" button again, and sometimes again, which causes duplicate threads at the same time. I know ... I sound like a nerd. "Learn to harness your anger and control your fear. Dominate your emotions! But do not let them overcome you; for they can surely cause you to fall to the dark side.
