March 3, 200520 yr Paint is usually in the Start Menu under Accessories. Pressing 'Print Scrn' doesn't actually create an image file: you need to paste the image into Paint and then save the file from there. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)
March 3, 200520 yr When you press "Print Screen" on your keyboard, it copies what is currently being displayed on your monitor, to the clipboard. At this point, there is no file generated or saved yet. That's why you have to open a raster graphics program like Pain, Paint Shop Pro, or Photoshop to copy an image into. Oy, I've been in Tech Support too long... I was about to type out "If there's anything else I can help you with, please reply to this e-mail."
