antivirus Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 The clone army is made up of clones of Fett. Why was an army of the Emperor made instead, thus creating an army of force sensitive beings? Or if not the Emperor, another force sensitive Sith. As KOTOR2 states with the Handmaiden, genetics plays a role in force sensitivity.
bob_the_kitty_hunter Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 Mayhaps cloning an army of Jedi/Sith wasn't necessarily in their range of technology? Though I doubt it. Of course, if one of them turns to the opposite side, who's to say they won't all eventually change?
antivirus Posted February 26, 2005 Author Posted February 26, 2005 they were genetically engineered to take orders and such. THat could change the Sith teachings forever, think about it, an army of 100% obedient sith lords wielding lightsabers, and the ability to use the force. Only problem is rationing of lightsaber crystals
bob_the_kitty_hunter Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 They don't NEED lightsabers. *coughs* Force Deflection, yah know, and with all those Sith, you don't need any weapons really. Just spam Force Lightning, force Crush, Force Wave, etc... etc...
thepixiesrock Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 The Jedi and Galactic Republic would start asking questions when there was an army of force sensitives. Not to mention the obvious fact that it wasn't written that way... jedipodo Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 The "good old" Expanded Universe has an answer to that problem. All of those clones will get strange names like "Luuke Skywalker" or "Joruu's C'Baoth" and are totally insane. "Jedi poodoo!" - some displeased Dug S.L.J. said he has already filmed his death scene and was visibly happy that he
thepixiesrock Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 "Luuke Skywalker" Hahaha I remember ole' Luuke... darth nutter Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 in heir to the empire there is a clone of a jedi master called jorus c'boath he was insane and the book in the final book in the series there was an insane clone of luke skywalker- if u clone force sensitives the clones turn out insane
DSLuke Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 Because an army of Force sensitives would be a threat to the emperor. i.e. there is a possibility that they will became aware of their capabilities and want to have power. And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom
Rosbjerg Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 plus the fact that the Jedi might be just a tad more suspicious if they were all force sensitive .. and maybe they would be able to feel it or something? the Emperor just needed an army, and get rid of any force wielding competition .. why then create an entire army of your own clones, each with your own capabilities .. they could become quite a problem if his plans didn't turn out exactly like he hoped! Fortune favors the bald.
Darth Tratious Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 that would cause problems what if some found jedi teachings or like DSluke said wanted power
