T3 Upgrades

T3-M4. The legendary midget-bot has come a LOOONG way since KOTOR1, where his only purpose was to unlock a single door on Taris.

 

I'm interested in him in KOTOR2. I've played through the game completely twice and I'm almost through on my third run. This most recent game, I've been toying around with T3 a bit and intend to use him as a main member of my party next time through, I think.

 

One of the reasons is that I've found that this little guy is dependable and you can get him pretty powerful, despite his lack of combat feats. I found the warfare upgrade and loved it.

 

Anyway. The point of this post is that I am aware that you can upgrade T3 throughout the game when you talk to him. Repair and Computer use are both required, and I'm also aware that Bao-Dur upgrades him pretty early on. Finally, to my surprise, when I took T3 with me on accident to G0-T0's yacht and jacked him into the security terminal (I think, maybe it was a command terminal) I had the option to upgrade his targetting software or something, raising his dex by 1.

 

Questions:

1. I've upgraded T3 all the way through my dialogues with him except for, I believe, the "final" upgrade. I believe YOU get a stat boost to wisdom for doing this, but I can't seem to be able to do it. It's an option in the dialogue menu, something like: "[Repair/Computer Use] How about one last upgrade? I keep thinking that I'm forgetting something." But when I select it he replies in a typically binary fashion and my responses are something like "What? I promise I won't blank out like last time?" or "What, are you worried about me?" or "Never Mind", I think. It never states "[influence: Failed]" so I don't know what's up. I'm a dark sider, so does that have something to do with it? Is it an influence problem after all, and it's just forgetting to display it?

 

2. Are there any other upgrades for T3 besides the ones you and Bao-Dur do, and the one you download from G0-T0's yacht?

 

3. Anyone use this lil' guy in their group through most of the game? Thoughts? Advice on how to outfit him?

 

All I know is that his stats can get pretty beastly from all the upgrades and components, and that ain't a bad thing. Thanks.

1.AFAIK final repping should give you s thing like "Meditate" with the droid

2.prolly the ones that you buy are better

3.NEver use him...I have all party Jedis(those that can be converted). If I REALLY want a ranged fighter I`ll take HK-47...he`s simply the BEST ranged character you can have

I Play DS and i have no problems accessing the final upgrade.. its most likely an ifluence thing.. also it may have to d with if you made revan a Female or not.. because i believe i got it after i got him to show me the hologram from

im actually planning the same thing .. im thinking of taking an all droid party all though im not sure yet
