Hey Obsidian, Since Titus and Interplay have gone bankrupt, is it possible to get the Van Buren engine from them?

DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.

But maybe the art-work could be salvaged? Perhaps the scripting (if they used some sort of script language within the game)? Animations? Maps? Character design? Dialogue and story? There are lots of features they should be able to use, even if the game-engine itself might be getting old.

How is it outdated? the screenies from it are better then any other 3rd person isometric engine.

Hey Obsidian, Since Titus and Interplay have gone bankrupt, is it possible to get the Van Buren engine from them?

 

Unfortunately, the VB/FO3 engine is now a property of Bethesda. They acquired it alongside the Fallout license.

Couldn't Interplay have the dignity to wait with going bancrupt until Obisidian has earned enough money to buy the Fallout license ?

 

Even at the bitter end Herve Caen totally screwed things.
