This is a interesting game, its kinda a GTA game set in South America but its free roaming and does not force missions on the player, he can select side if he wants to select side at all.

Got a link?

Hmm, sounds interesting, and it seems that the approach to the gameworld or setting, whatever, is similar to S.T.A.L.K.E.R., where the developers acutally put in the real-life Chernobyl area. Man, I want that game...

I wrote a very short preview of this game in the beginning of 2004 (back when it was still called Xenus and not Boiling Point). It looked highly interesting back then, even though the graphics were amateurish and the technology couldn't keep up with what the game designers tried to do. But apparently it looked good enough, because since then Atari has bought the rights for the game, they've spiced up the graphics and the technology looks very good in the latest movies. I wonder who made them change the name though? I never liked Xenus (anus?) that much and I think Boiling Point sounds much cooler.

Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!

I have to admit, it looks pretty fun; I'll keep an eye out for it. As for the name change, Xenus sounds like a low-budget sci-fi alien shooter thing, whereas Boiling Point has a stronger, more impressive tone and implication.

I think it's got huge potential if they pull it off -- and Boiling Point is indeed a better name. Xenus does sound like some alien side-scroller or something.

Good graphics, hopefully will it have the game play to back em up.

Thanks for the linkage.

I did not know of this. In fact it looks really cool.
