how many total npcs are there?

through the development we heard that there will be more npcs than what you can actually have join you, so im wondering how many total are there and who are they?

 

i had kreia, atton, handmaiden, visas, mandalore, bao-dur, mira, goto, hk, and t3. the only one i can think of playing as a ds male that was unavailable to me was disciple. who else is there?

There are 12. The one you missed was Hanharr. Disciple joins you if you're female, Handmaiden if you're male. Mira joins you if you're LS or Neutral when you're playing Nar Shadaa, while Hanharr joins you if you're DS.

This time out there is only one NPC that is optional unlike the first game where you could go through the game and not get HK or Juhani

 

This time HK is the only one who you could go through and not ever have added to your party. You simply just need to choose not to fix him.
