I'm currently on Dantooine and I can't seem to beat Vroom. Everytime I get him down to where he puts his lightsaber down, the screen goes black. I still hear them fighting but no damage is done to my guy (i push start and look at the menu) and nothing really happens. I figured out how to beat him, but my screen just goes black so I have to keep loading it again. I've tried from a couple different save points, all with the same results. I also let the mercs kill the head woman and the others, and I've gone the other route by killing the mercs, all to no avail. PLEASE HELP! Plus, I put 3 other games in my Xbox to clear the cache and that did nothing. I was thinking about going to another planet because for some reason when I kill all the mercs and tell the woman to keep her money, Vroom is standing right next to them and I can just walk right out of the building (unless I talk to Vroom, then I magically appear in that lobby room and have to fight him), so I was thinking that I could just go to another planet and then come back to Dantooine. But then I wouldn't get the lens I need for the lightsaber...I hope this doesn't confuse anyone, but please help me! The original KOTOR is my fav. game of all time, but I bought Halo 2 and KOTOR 2 and Halo 2 is blowing KOTOR 2 out of the water (but it wouldn't if there wasn't so many bugs and I could actually enjoy the game).

Im afraid i cant help you, but i can recall Kotor having a similiar bug at the end with Mission.

 

I think there is a workaround for it though, i hope some people can help you.

Well I solved the problem. I went back and decided to be nice to Vroom so I never ended up having to fight him. But when I got on the Ebon Hawk, I couldn't talk to that Sith Jedi (that chick) that appears on my ship. So I solved one problem, only to run into another. NO LUCK!

That happened to me once while fighting Darth Nihilus, I had to re-load but luckily I saved right before the battle so it wasnt a big deal.

 

btw, its Vrook not Vroom

It happened to me with Bao-Dur, he will not speak to me and he will not follow me either. I have to be him and start a conversation with my character to talk to him.
