I noticed this was done with the HK factory..so hopefully you guys wouldn't mind helping out a bit more...if one of you could just briefly jot down what sidequests were left out of the final game, it would save alot of confusion...like the PC's lightsaber, etc...just things NOT included in the final cut that seem like they should be missions...so we don't run around trying to find those damned wild geese....thanks.

A good rule of thumb is this:

 

If it doesn't appear in your Journal, then its not a side quest/quest. Don't pursue anything unless its in your Journal.

I'm thinking the whole "quest to get your lightsaber" thing wasn't really about getting the saber in the cutscenes.

They were saying that getting a lightsaber would be a quest,and it was.Believe it was called,"crafting a lightsaber".It was a quest,each time you found a piece,the journal would update.
