I've run into a bug that seems to have ruined the game for me.

 

After I attack the exchange officers I get a message from a guy in the exchange who would like to meet in the cantina. I am told to go alone and aton tells me to be careful and runs off.

 

Then I am first introduced to mira who tells me my friends are in trouble and then the game loads... after its done loading the screen goes blank but I can hear music and I can tell Im using aton but besides that I cant do anything.

 

I've tried getting around this bug but it seems impossible. Im 13 hours into the game and if I load from a previous save to try and get off the planet it wont let me.

 

This game seems too rushed and too bugged. Is there anything I can do to get around this bug?

Most likely not. You could try loading the previous game and see if it continues to repeat itself there -- or maybe try equiping Atton w/ different equipment, or nothing (weird I know... but so are these bugs). Trying a new disk is the generic cop-out answer to these types of questions.

 

Another option you have is to equip Atton with really good armor and some good blades. Just press the A button a few times -- you are in a dialog that will evolve into a battle. You can cross your fingers that Atton will win and the screen might return. :D

Try saving and then relaoding.

you only play atton for a little bit so just do what boiler told you. Finish the fight and ur done with atton

I'm in Nar Shadda now -- I'll keep an eye out on this game-breaker, but to let you know, I haven't gotten any bugs, black screens or freezes. The only thing I've noticed is lack of polish here and there (NPCs running in cirlces, party-members "warping" to position on the world map, etc. -- not big deals at all, imho).....
