Although the thing I like most about Star Wars are Jedi, I was tired of the Jedi being completely uber and unstopable. There's a sense of danger and the possibility of a main character getting killed off in every book. They set the dark tone early by killing off Chewy. Plus how many times have we seen Jedi vs Sith?
